Getting Started

Master the basic movement and flapping rhythm first. Your chicken doesn't hover — you must continuously flap to stay airborne, but over-flapping makes you predictable. Stay above opponents to win collisions; the player with the higher lance always defeats the lower one.

Learn to use platforms strategically. Landing on a platform lets you rest and plan your next move, but it also makes you a stationary target. The center of the arena usually offers the best positioning because you can attack in any direction.

• Use Platform Edges for Surprise Attacks — Fly off a platform from an unexpected angle
• Learn Each Character's Speed and Handling — Faster characters can dodge better; heavier characters have more momentum
• Control the Center of the Arena — The middle ground gives you maximum options for attack and retreat
• Master Momentum Conservation — Flap in bursts rather than continuously to maintain unpredictable movement
• Predict Opponent Trajectories — Aim where they'll be, not where they are
• Use the Arena Hazards — Some arenas have environmental dangers you can use to your advantage
• Feint and Counter — Pretend to retreat, then turn and attack when opponents pursue

Common Mistakes to Avoid

• Flying Recklessly Without Watching Opponents — Always know where everyone is before committing to an attack
• Getting Cornered at the Edges — The arena edges limit your escape options
• Over-Flapping — Excessive flapping makes your movement predictable and wastes momentum
• Ignoring Character Differences — Picking a character that doesn't match your playstyle puts you at a disadvantage
• Chasing Kills Over Positioning — Sometimes maintaining high ground is better than pursuing a kill
• Not Adapting to the Arena — Each battlefield favors different strategies
