40 unique prompts match your selection. No repeats within a deck.
How to play Halloween charades
- Choose categories, a difficulty, and a deck size. Easy focuses on familiar actions; mixed adds funny scenes.
- Keep the device facing the actor. Reveal the prompt, then act it out without speaking, spelling, or showing the card.
- Let the group guess. Agree on a time limit and use a separate timer if you want one; this tool does not time or score a round.
- Select Next card to hide the next prompt, then pass the device. Skip any prompt that does not suit your group. Write scores on paper if you are playing in teams.
Playing over a video call
Keep the prompt off the shared screen. The actor can open this tool privately on their own device and generate a card while everyone guesses on the call. Alternatively, a host can copy the list and privately send one prompt to each actor using the call's chat.
Everyone opening the link gets an independent deck. There are no room codes, separate-device joining, synchronized cards, automatic scoring, or built-in video calls. Changing filters, clearing the deck, or refreshing removes the current deck.
Family and office game nights
The prompts use playful Halloween imagery and invented movie scenes, without graphic horror or jump scares. Choose easy for familiar gestures, allow seated acting, and mime every prop rather than using real equipment. Nobody has to perform a movement they dislike; passing is always allowed. Movie scenes are original situations, not licensed film clips or official game content.
Halloween Pictionary words and drawing
Many of these prompts also work as drawing challenges. Draw the scene on paper while others guess, or use the existing Halloween drawing word pack for shorter, comma-separated words to paste into a private Skribbl.io room.

Frequently asked questions
Can the whole group see a card?
The reveal button only hides or shows text on your current device. It is not a secure private delivery system. Position the screen away from guessers and do not screen-share a revealed card.
Why did I get fewer prompts than I requested?
Your category and difficulty choices may match a smaller pool. The generator uses each matching prompt once rather than repeating prompts to fill the deck.
Can I copy a printable list?
Open the host list to copy the generated prompts as plain text, one per line. Paste them into your own document and print it; this tool does not generate a PDF. If automatic copying is unavailable, select and copy the text manually.
