Set up your Halloween quiz

Read each question aloud or share your screen. Players write down A, B, C, or D; the host awards one point per correct answer.

Players or teams (2)

Up to 8 players or teams; split a larger group into teams. No sign-up. Refreshing this page clears the round.

How to host a Halloween trivia round

  1. Make up to eight teams or use individual players. Give each a name and some paper.
  2. Choose 10 questions, or 20 from the mixed pack. The easy pack focuses on familiar Halloween themes; mixed adds books, creatures, and wordplay.
  3. Read each question aloud or show it on a shared screen. Everyone writes A, B, C, or D before the host reveals the answer.
  4. Tick each correct team to award one point, then move on. Teams with the same final score share a rank.

Playing in person or over a video call

In person, use one phone or laptop; a larger screen helps a bigger group. Over a video call, the host shares the browser window and players show written answers or send them using the call’s chat. The host controls the timer, reveals, and scoring.

This version has no room codes, separate-device joining, automatic answer collection, or synchronized rankings across devices. Sharing the game page lets another person host their own round. Refreshing closes your current round.

For families and office parties

The questions use familiar Halloween imagery and a few classic books, without graphic horror. Choose easy for younger players and mixed for a wider range of questions. Read questions aloud when reading ability differs; teams can discuss before committing an answer. Allow more time or select no timer if your group prefers.

Need another activity? Try the Halloween drawing word pack, play Who Is the Impostor on one phone, or use the indoor Halloween party plan.
